It was performed at the Festival des Rencontres Musicales de Vezelay and at the Festival de La Chaise-Dieu.

This program brings together numerous prayer texts, prayers of intercession, confession and gratitude, which give thanks to Almighty God. The chosen texts are set to music by today’s composers, whose languages are to be put in perspective with their source of inspiration which belongs to the past.

Thus, Gregorian hymns, contrapuntal scriptures from the Renaissance period and premises from the Baroque period find their place naturally as an accompaniment to universal meditation, after having been reserved for centuries to accompany Christian worship.
