Sequenza 9.3 wanted to collaborate with Senny Camara, a great voice of traditional African music. Accompanied by her guitarist and pianist, we propose to bring together the songs of oral traditions collected in Seine-Saint-Denis and the traditional songs of Senny Camara's African repertoire, arranged by Manuel Peskine. This concert is conceived as an encounter, an alliance, between lyrical voices and African musical traditions, but also between songs from around the world, creating a collective heritage and legacy, rich in diversity.
