An ensemble committed to serving music and audiences

The Vocal Ensemble SEQUENZA 9.3 and its conductor Catherine Simonpietri have been established in Seine-Saint-Denis for 20 years. The Ensemble is dedicated to disseminating knowledge of contemporary vocal art in the Ile-de-France and national territory, through training and informing the widest possible audience (schoolchildren, students, amateurs, the frail and the disabled with no experience of singing).

Thanks to the generous personality of Catherine Simonpietri and her high standards, the Ensemble conceives and creates bespoke ambitious projects accessible to all, which "decompartmentalize" disciplines. The voice is an instrument which is accessible to everyone and immediately brings them together.

The Ensemble is also committed to making contemporary music known, by weaving links with its artistic diffusion activity : public rehearsals, meetings and round table discussions, neighbourhood-concerts and interactive-concerts involving the public…
